Hot Cocoa Cookies πŸͺ

Hey guys! Sorry for my inactivity for the past few days. I didn't really have anything to write about. I haven't logged onto Woozworld (so busy!) so I don't know what's going on πŸ˜› I promise I'll check in soon but for now, I wanted to give you guys something. And even though this post has nothing to do with Woozworld, I thought it would be great to get in the festive season (only 16 days till Christmas πŸŽ„) and besides, most of our DIY posts are the most popular. So why not? Anyways, I've made these cookies before and they are delicious! Great to eat while playing Woozworld indoors on a cold, winter day. Let's get started!

Recipe: Hot Cocoa Cookies
Yields: 27 cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 hot cocoa mix
2 eggs, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
Mini marshmallows
Chocolate for drizzling (~1/2 cups)
Sprinkles (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar.
3. Add in hot cocoa mix, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until well combined and smooth.
4. Add the flour, and baking soda and mix until no dry pockets remain.
5. Fold in chocolate chips and scoop onto cookie sheet- about 6 per sheet.
6. Bake for 10-11 minutes and as soon as they come out, use the back of a spoon to make an indentation and press a few marshmallows on the cookie.
7. Let cool on the cookie sheet for about 5 minutes, then move them to a cooling rack.
8.Once cool, melt chocolate and drizzle over the cookies and top with sprinkles if desired.

Ta-da! These fantastic cookies take only a few minutes and are great as gifts or treats for any occasion :)

Thanks for reading! If you make these, please do let us know ;) We love to know when you guys try our recipes!

Love, Fairview 1
XOXO ♡
